Information

This Option is only for pupils who already have an instructor with us. It allows us to add your details to our booking system and set up your lessons correctly. If you are making a new enquiry or checking availability, please select the appropriate option instead.

Test Vehicle Request

This option is for pupils who are already taking lessons and are ready to request a vehicle for their driving test.

You must be at Progress Level 5 in the app to use an instructor’s car.

Driving Test Reservation Requirement

To reserve your driving test with us, you must be driving at a safe, test-ready standard, which is Progress Level 5 in the app.

Please make sure your instructor has updated your progress level accordingly. Test reservations cannot be confirmed until Level 5 is reached.

By selecting Yes, you confirm that you understand you must be at Level 5 in the app, meaning you are driving at a safe, test-ready standard.

Your booking will only be considered once this level has been reached and confirmed.

Important Information

If you need to use your instructor’s car for your driving test, this service will ONLY be available once you have completed your training through our system.

This means progressing through regular lessons to reach a safe and consistent driving standard, followed by a mock test to confirm you are fully test-ready.

Once this standard is achieved and confirmed by your instructor (Progress Level 5), you will then be able to access and book test-day accompaniment through our services.

This approach ensures you are properly prepared, driving safely, and in the best possible position to pass your driving test.

Please note that booking a standard lesson alone does not provide access to test-day use of an instructor’s car. This is a structured process based on readiness and instructor approval.

Mock test information

A mock driving test is a one-off lesson designed to assess your test readiness.

Booking a mock test does not include test-day accompaniment or use of an instructor’s car for your real driving test.

This would need to be arranged separately and would only be considered after your mock test, if your instructor is satisfied that you are ready.

If you would like to express interest in test day accompaniment service, you can select Yes on the next page where it asks if you would like your instructor to accompany you to your driving test.

Important Information About Test Bookings

If you do not yet have a practical driving test booked, please note that we are unable to book, change or manage practical driving tests on your behalf.

From 12 May 2026, due to DVSA rule changes, driving instructors and driving schools can no longer book or manage practical driving tests for pupils. You will need to arrange and manage your test independently.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER

To register for one of our Intensive Driving Courses, you must have a valid Theory Test Certificate.

Due to the current shortage of practical driving tests across the UK, we now prioritise pupils who are ready to move forward with both their training and practical test. This allows us to make the best use of the limited test availability and offer course places to pupils who are ready to begin.

If you have not yet passed your theory test, we recommend booking your theory as soon as possible. Once you have your valid Theory Test Certificate, we'll be delighted to welcome your registration.

Test Accompaniment Service

You must book your driving test first, and it must be booked at least one month in advance.

Test Day Accompaniment

Thank you for expressing an interest in our test day accompaniment service.

Selecting Yes does not guarantee that your instructor will accompany you to your practical driving test or that the instructor's vehicle will be available.

This will only be considered after your mock test, once your instructor has assessed that you are ready to take your practical driving test.

Assessment Lesson Required

As you would like your instructor to accompany you to your practical driving test using the instructor's vehicle, an assessment lesson is required before your intensive course can be confirmed.

The assessment allows us to accurately assess your current driving ability and recommend the most suitable course length to give you the best opportunity of reaching test standard before your practical driving test.

Later in this form, we'll ask for your availability so we can arrange your assessment lesson.

This section is used to request the use of an instructor’s car for your driving test date.

To give you the best range of options and improve availability, we recommend submitting your request at least 3 weeks in advance of your test date.

This helps us plan ahead, check availability properly, and support you as effectively as possible for your test day.

If your test date is sooner than this, you are still welcome to complete the form, and we will do our best to assist where possible.

Mock Test Location

Our mock driving tests are conducted around Aberdeen North Test Centre or Cove Test Centre, giving you experience of the test routes and surrounding roads commonly used during practical driving tests.

If you meet your instructor near the test centre, the mock test will last approximately 1 hour.

If you choose Home Collection, this is a 2-hour service, allowing time to travel to the test area, complete the mock test and return you to your original collection address.

Home collection is subject to postcode coverage. If your address is outside our collection area, we may recommend an alternative meeting point instead.

In some cases, you may be able to use your own vehicle. This option is only suitable for pupils who already have enough driving experience to safely operate the vehicle controls without assistance.
